Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Direct and participate in the planning and implementation of occupational therapy program designed to facilitate development and rehabilitation of patients of skilled nursing facility. Screen and evaluate patients, plan programs, consult with other members of rehabilitation team and coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities to upgrade individual to maximum independence. Evaluate progress and maintain affiliated records. Assist Therapist Aide as required.
Requires a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and 1 year of experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and 5 years of experience, or any reasonable combination of education, training and experience thereof. Experience can be progressive. No less than a Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience is acceptable. Requires a California Occupational Therapist License.
